Overview: 
We are looking for a Junior IT Manager who is passionate about supporting our growing hospitality organization and enhancing our IT operations. In this role, you will work closely with our external partners, Science on Call and Knight Office Solutions (our managed service provider), to ensure our IT infrastructure and support systems are running smoothly. This position is operations-focused, with the flexibility to work during our hours of operation, including evenings and weekends as needed. You’ll play a critical role in improving our IT services today while helping strategize for future growth and departmental initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution across our restaurant, retail, and entertainment venues.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Science on Call and Knight Office Solutions, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination of IT support and managed services.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and maintain our POS systems, with a preference for candidates experienced with Aloha POS.
  • Monitor IT help desk requests, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution for our staff across all locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address IT needs, including hardware, software, and network requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT service delivery and user experience across the organization.
  • Support new IT initiatives and projects, including technology upgrades, POS enhancements, and system integrations.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and provide recommendations on future IT strategies and potential growth areas.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 3+ years of progressive IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry 
  • Hands-on experience with Aloha POS or similar POS system is required. 
  • Solid understanding of IT operations, including hardware, software, network, and POS troubleshooting 
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and team coordination. 
  • Flexibility to work during operational hours, including weekends and evenings, to ensure seamless support for our locations. 
Preferred Skills: 
  • Experience working with managed service providers and IT support partners.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry technology trends and operational challenges.
  • Prior experience with IT project management and system implementation.
